Kait Moyer
Kait's career in the dog industry started in 2012 with pet sitting and dog walking for local families in Placer, Sacramento, and El Dorado Counties. She has been professionally training dogs since 2018 and founded Hollow Stark K9 in 2021. Her background extends through various avenues of dog training such as, obedience, play/enrichment, and behavior modification. With years of hands-on experience working with hundreds of dogs, she excels at guiding owners in seamlessly integrating training into their everyday lifestyle.
Whether you want your dog trained for adventures, patio hang outs, or you're looking for a well mannered pup at home, Kait tailors her programs specifically to you AND your dog!
While she works with all dogs and behaviors, any size or breed, she specializes in dog reactivity training. Kait believes that dog training is always evolving and is committed to continuous learning to stay current on all aspects of dog behavior and care. This dedication is a key part of her mission which is rooted in the dog-to-owner connection. She strives to help as many dogs & their humans as possible live their best lives together!
Logan
2019-2025
Logan’s name was inspired by the character from Wolverine, but Kait named her business after the true meaning of “Logan” — little hollow — a peaceful, quiet place surrounded by nature. It represents a sense of calm, grounded strength, and refuge, much like how Kait felt every time she was with Logan. He brought balance, energy, and peace to her world, and his spirit & legacy continue to inspire HSK9 everyday.

Arya
Arya embodies the “Stark” in Hollow Stark K9. Named after the fearless Arya Stark from Game of Thrones, she’s every bit as strong-willed and determined. As a puppy, Arya faced serious allergies and anxiety—chewing baseboards, escaping crates, and even breaking a tooth in the process! With Kait’s training and patience, she made a remarkable transformation.
